About Sharon

Hi, I’m Sharon, I live in the city of Liverpool with my husband Andrew and our two boys. I am a calligrapher and engraver, as well as a Maths teacher. I specialise in both nib and brush pen calligraphy.

Words, such as lyrics or quotes, can hold special meaning and it is an honour to take those words and turn them into pieces of art. One of the things I enjoy the most is creating personalised pieces, because each of which tells a story and becomes treasured by their new owner.The writing style and lettering style is adapted to bring your ideas to life or I use a streamlined style in fitting with any business setting.

As a secondary teacher for over 20 years, I am passionate about teaching others and I am delighted to now offer calligraphy workshops, teaching others this beautiful mindful craft. I am also offering corporate wellbeing workshops to businesses looking to support their workers mental health and wellbeing, engaging in calligraphy offers significant stress relief and mental health benefits.

I am passionate about reducing waste and working with sustainable products. When working with acrylic I use 100% recycled acrylic and all stationery is recyclable. I absolutely adore writing in calligraphy, using metallic inks and luxurious paper, it is any stationery addicts dream. The beautiful lines and curves that calligraphy creates, especially in our heavily digital world of type and font, calligraphy can be appreciated even more.

As a calligrapher and engraver in Liverpool, and beyond, I have worked with a number of brands such as Dior, Harvey Nichol’s Beauty Bazaar and Boots. Offering in-store engraving on products for their clients as a complimentary service. This adds a personalised touch to gifts, making them keepsakes and is especially popular at Christmas.
